Special Blessing * MFT Sketch Challenge 454

Hello and welcome
to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge inspiration.

I went for a fall card using the new Knitted Sweater Background, some leaves and a beautiful sentiment.

First, I did some heat embossing. I stamped the background stamp with Versamark on one half of my panel and covered it with white embossing powder. Next, I used Washi Tape to mask off the top half of my panel and three stripes on my heat embossed piece. Luckily, the tape had the perfect size to go along with the knitted pattern. After masking off some parts, I used Distress Ink and a blending tool to create the four light brown stripes.

For my leaves, I did some die cutting and ink blending with Distress Inks. These die cuts already come with beautiful details, so you don't have to add much more to make them stand out. I arranged them on my panel and glued them down. I stamped my sentiment with a crisp black ink and added some clear drops for a finishing touch. I think it looks like morning dew on the leaves.

Join the fun and meet us at the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge for more information about how you can play along.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a colorful day,
LJD Cheerful Blessings
