Joy, Love & Piece * MFT Countdown (3)

Hello and welcome to the third day of our MFT  Release Countdown. We're half way to the big day!

Todays featured product is a wonderful stencil. It's especially cool for last minute christmas cards. You could easily make a bunch of these cards quite quickly.

I placed the stencil on my white panel and masked off the trees and the hearts. Then, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen. Next, I took away the masking tape from the trees and masked off the words so that I just had the trees showing. I did some ink blending again using a light green. The last step is the same as the second, just that now the hearts are showing and the words and the trees are covered with removable tape.

I wanted the focus to stay on the background. So I simply die cut a circle from white card stock and stamped a greeting on it using a black ink. I smeared some Distress Oxide ink on a scrap piece of paper and die cut some leaves and a tiny heart.

Have you seen what the DT Ladies made?! There's so much inspiration going on on the MFT Blog so hop over and check it out!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a happy day,

  1. I really like the background to the seasonal sentiments. The non-traditional colors create peace and calmness.
