MFT November Vault Release

Hello there, I'm so happy you're stopping by. Let's take a look at one of the MFT November Vault Release products.

This cute superhero is from the re-released stamp set called Super Boy. When I saw this, I knew I wanted to color him like my oldest son, Ben, who is five. We do not have a dog but I thought it would go well with the outdoor scene.

I went for one of my favorite techniques again: no-line coloring. I stamped the boy and the dog in a very light gray ink (I prefer MFT Premium Dye Ink in grout gray). Then, I colored them with spectrum noir markers and added depth with colored pencils. For the grass, I didn't really have a plan. I just drew a ton of blades of grass. I started with my lightest green in the back and added darker shades step by step.

Because I had spent so much time on coloring the focal image, I didn't want to spend much more time for the background. So I simply did some Distress Oxide ink blending and stamped the little stars in the same Oxide ink color, Tumbled Glass. To finish up my card I stamped the greeting and glued the panel on a white card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a super awesome day,
